February 17, 2022
Dear Parents of St. Therese Students,
We thank you for all of your support and your incredibly tough work from home to help us mitigate the spread of Covid-19 here at school. While we have had to make some difficult decisions over the past few years, we have come through this together.
As we begin to explore the next phase of the pandemic and reconfigure our expectations with the drop in community spread, we are following the new MDHHS guidelines for schools and will NO longer be asking all children to wear masks at school effective Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
It is expected that families will monitor their own exposure to Covid-19 and will comply with quarantine and masking requirements. We reserve the right to re-evaluate our policies and practices should there once again be an increase in community spread.
I hope that you all have a wonderful long weekend. We look forward to Tuesday.
St. Therese, pray for us,
Sheryl O’Connor
St. Therese Catholic School Reopening Plan has been updated to reflect that all students grades kindergaretn through 6th grade are expected to wear masks at all times even while seated at their desks in the classrooms. The only exception is while seated while eating lunch or outsideon the playground while social distancing.
